Lined and Filled-A Taste of Hearth Cooking

After the paste (pastry) is rolled out for the receipt (recipe) Orange Cheese-cakes with a Past for Them, patty pans were lined with the paste and filled with mixture containing almonds and candied orange peel beat fine.  The cheese-cakes are pictured in an original 18th century bake kettle ready for baking.
