Hands-on 18th Century Ice Cream

Susan McLellan Plaisted, Proprietress, Heart to Hearth Cookery will be at Historic Summerseat for their May 30, 2026 Living History Festival Day from 10 am to 3 pm. Everyone can help in making the 18th century ice cream! After the ice cream is ready in Susan’s reproduction pewter sabotiere, taster spoon samples will be available.
