The Evolution of Gingerbread

Susan McLellan Plaisted, Proprietress, Heart to Hearth Cookery will be at Bouman-Stickney Farmstead, Sunday March 1, 2026 from 1 to 4 pm. This is an on-going program with examples with examples of the earliest English gingerbread receipts (recipes) and through the centuries. Construction of a gingerbread sweet-meat cone will be demonstrated using a local 18th century manuscript receipt. The Farmstead is located at 114 Dreahook Rd, Stanton, NJ 08885.
