Pompion, Pompkin, Pumpkin-A Taste of Hearth Cooking

In the 17th century receipts (recipes) referred to what is known today as a pumpkin as a pompion and in the next 18th century receipt I will be blogging the term pompkin for the receipt-Pompkin Soop.
